woke up to can't see our cars.

hubby is in the pic. looking in at the chickens in the window.

glad today is my day off from work!!!!

we got a foot and a half of snow !!

Us too. Hubby is out snow throwing a path to the coop now. They are saying "much more to come" too!

oh man, see I dont get it, we WANT/NEED snow and you all just keep getting it! lol I live in the mountains of VA and we have been forecast 3 "biguns" so far this winter and we have had a TOTAL of snow depth since November of maybe 8 inches! I need more snow lol

i have been outside atleast 5 times already. i cooked a dozen eggs for the girls and my one man rooster, they were in heaven when i gave it to them.

its snowing more!! the flakes are getting bigger.

if anyone here has birdies!! please dont forget to fill your feeders (wildbirds etc.) i have been checking on them as well. they rely on the bird seed. they were so happy when i cleared some snow for their feed.

btw: for a visual on how deep this snow is my height is 5'4 and the snow is up to my waist now.

Most of my snow prep is not at the grocery store, but at Tractor Supply. 40 pounds of sunflower seed, another finch feeder, a bag of layer pellets... I may not eat, but the birds will!

It is pretty snowy here too, but not up to my waist yet! More like mid-thigh. I'm 5'7"
