Ezra whipped his gaze at Sorrence. He growled then stiffened. I can... hear her?. He thought and tilted his head. But what was she saying? Why can't I understand?

Hmmmm, very well then." Sorrence turned her head and held her tail high. "Follow me if you like rabid, but just beware." She sped up to a trot then slowed back down. She walked farther into the woods. As she came to a stream, one she new was uninfected, she took a long good hard drink. The water slid down her throat easily, and he cold water slowly burned her gums. She smirked to herself as she thought about being infected. She remembers (I may change the history a little here, but I am gonna do it anyway) the day when the infection first cam to her pack. But not now. She told herself "I will not think of that now! The past is the past!" But she shook her head and started laughing maniacally "Hahahahaha. I know you are behind me." She turned to see another wolf, from her pack, that sacrificed her family so he would survive. He licked his lips and said "Long time no see." Sorrence circled him and said "Today is the day I am bigger than you." He said "What do you mean" Sorrence said "You know what you did... wait, you dont remember?" He said "No?" He picked up a mouthful of rocks and dumbly tried to eat them. That's when she ealized. Sorrence tld him "You are infected" "No" He stammered"I don't eat infected wolves!, Only other ones!" I droved my shoulder hard into his shoulder and pushed him into a tree. I then shoved him to the edge of the now raging stream and said "Farewell." Then I pushed him. ( trying to revive this rp)

(Please excuse the Gore in this story, I wrote this story myself, and it took me about a week just to get this far)

1st part of the story
Yelps and howls of pain echoed out from outside the den entrance. I lay asleep inside fighting the urge to wake as the war proceeded outside. My eyes shot open as a loud wail had awaken me, a puddle of blood seeped in through the den entrance. I felt the liquid' s warmth beneath my body as it leaked in, soaking my fur, I quickly stood. Startled by the feeling of wet, I looked down to find my stomach,legs, and paws drenched in the blood.
Ignoring the uncomfortable wetness I crept toward the den entrance where the whines and wails came from, sloshing in the blood as it continued to flood the den. I stopped at the edge of the dens opening, where the blood drenched soil met the blood stained grass, the little lone that separates me from the outside world. The sun's light, blinding me; taking a few seconds for my eyes to adjust to the brightness. My eyes adjusted, everything clear now. I wished my eyes hadn't adjusted, it was a horrible place the outside world, the den hid from me, my mother had tried her hardest to protect me from.
Blood splashed into the air landing on the ground or on other wolves staining them, making them look as the horrible monsters they were. Blood stained every inch of the ground around the den, dead bodies of wolves littered the red colored grass, who were once my elder siblings and relatives. Chunks of skin and fur, a body part or two were ripped from each wolf as they attacked each other littering the blood stained soil on top of the dead bodies. Ahead, a small group of wolves that were left, ripped and fought at each other, without a purpose, as if it were fun. Foam filled each wolf's mouth spilling on the ground as they jerked away from each other's bites.
Blood leaked from the corners of their eyes, dribbling down their cheeks and soaking their faces. There was a reason my mother kept me from the outside, this must've been the reason. What I once thought my prison was my safe place...

2nd part of the story
A dark colored wolf, almost black, had attempted to sneak away from the battle of brutality. Crouched and tail tucked between his quivering legs he held his head low and headed for the thick brush a little ways away from the ball of fighting wolves. He was close now so close his nose almost touched a twig outstretched from one of the leafless bushes. A light colored wolf, Brown in color, foamy mouthed and stained with the blood of his rivals had heard the sneak-away attempting to escape. He let out a snarl, alarming the poor sneak-away.
The sneak-away stood still in hope that he wouldn't be seen, was being held down by the fear that was heavy in him. In an instant the foamy mouthed wolf pounced upon the sneak-away as if he were prey. Sinking his teeth into the sneak-away' s flesh, just below the throat. The sneak-away whined and barked calling for help, but not a soul attempted to rescue him. Along with most of the other wolves he was devoured by the darkness of the illness, taking over the sneak-away' s body as fast as it took for his life to fade from his liquid Brown eyes.
The sight sent a chill down my spine, I wanted to cry, for the sneak-away had been my uncle, and the attacker, my father. Before this day they had always loved and respected each other, not daring to challenge each other. What had happened to the love that was once there? My father began ripping open my uncle's flesh, not for a meal, for the sheer joy of it. He wanted to watch my uncle bleed, bleed till his eye's turned white.
I cringed as the blood poured out of my uncle's dead body, splashing onto the ground till a large puddle had formed around the body. The remaining wolves, infected. Hadn't anything to attack or kill besides each other, but before they could the illness had murdered their heart, their spirit that kept them alive for this long. Only my father still stood, foam dripping from his lips and blood leaking from his eyes. His eyes, losing blood had turned them white, I knew that soon he would die off too. Like the rest, he'll die automatically, without warning or signs...


A disease is spreading through the land like wildfire, you must avoid and survive the ill and diseased wolves that have been taken by the sickness. All around you is illness and poison. Many rivers and streams are poisoned by the dead bodies of the other wolves that fell prey to the illness. Now you must survive, keep your species thriving and do not get caught by the illness!!!

You live in the deciduous forest, in Yellowstone national park. No humans are allowed inside the park unless there are people making a documentary which usually fly over the area in helicopters and rarely there will be poachers. The winters are harsh and cold and seem very long. The summers are short and get very hot, the highest is probably 80°F. Bison, carribou(reindeer), bear, weasels, and other animals live here.

Rules:

- I prefer if you don't have your characters fight but if they do only 2 blows per post

-don't make fighting too brutal please

- I don't mind if characters have mates as long as you don't go into detail... you know what I mean

- No perfect characters

- your characters are not invincible, if they get bit by an infected wolf there is no cure and within 7 rp hours your character will turn into the diseased wolf

-You can have half breeds(dog/wolf) but no dogs because this is in the forest you won't find humans nor dogs for 100 miles

-Be realistic please(if a wolf has a wound it won't clean it off with water, if it has a fish etc. It won't cut it up and add spices, no unnatural colors, no powers.)

- don't make up animals to find in the forest. This is a wooded forest (there will not be lizards or desserts.)

- if rules are not followed you will get a pm from me about it(don't worry I won't put you in jail for it just give you a friendly reminder of the rules and how the rp goes)
