Niko smiled again at Alessia. He nodded. Then Zoltan came back and told them the bad news. Niko nodded. "We need to go!"

Zoltan glanced back from where he came. "I'm not familiar with the area. Do you know of a safe place?" He asked hopeful

Niko ran the the creek. He ran along it. He was going to take them to a hidden under-ground cave that he found many months ago.

Zoltan glanced back, to make sure they were not being followed. Seeing they were safe, he focused back on Niko. Thank goodness he knew the lay of the land. Because he definitely didn't want to have to fight an infected. But he would die to save his sister.

Niko slowed his pace, now at a trot. They were near the cave. He kept following the creek until there was a rock embedded in the water, just a little sticking out. He jumped across and kept his pace up. He stopped and waited for them to get across.

Alessia crossed first, she carefully walked over the rocky bottom. Not wanting to lose her balance. Once a crossed, she nodded to Niko for waiting.

Zoltan bolted a cross quickly, not wanting to hold them up. Time was valuable and distance even better.

Once Niko waited for them to ge across and countinued running in the direction of the cave. The cave was near a puddle, a puddle of clean water that no one else knew was there, at least he hoped. After the creek was crossed they got to a small patch of woods. He ran into them to quickly get out of them. Now they were in a thick meadow. He looked to his left as he ran, there layed the dead tree. The tree marked to go to exact opposite direction. So he turned right and kept on running.

Ezra was quickly taken over by the infection, his soul was light and wasn't even connected to his body. He stood beside his body, still alive but almost dead. His body changed before his eyes, blood leaked from the corners of his eyes and foam ran from his lips. His teeth bared growling at the nothingness ahead. His brain didn't want to work. His body stood but stumbled about five times before actually standing. Ezra wanted to run away, away from his own body but couldn't. He was still connected to his still surprisingly living body. He couldn't control his body even if he wanted to, his brain turned black. All his body wanted to to do was go after anything that moved. His body walked in circles head slightly tilted and twitching.
