This does not say that civillians know less, or feel different but it does allow your opinions to be measured against those opinions from people with your same qualifiers, and different qualifiers

As the op said, this was more about curiosity brought about because of the paper, not research for the paper. Thus I can't imagine where 'qualifiers' come into it. Wether a person is female or male, or civilian or military, has absolutely no merit on the quality of their opinion.​

quality of opinion no (maybe) but it does actually have merit on what some people reading this thread may or may not think. Quality of an opinion is almost impossible to quantify, because an opinion is an opinon. ones own belief. Though I bet the opinion on Murder is a bit different on Death row, than yours is.............
