I wish I would have gotten into that when I was younger; I had the motor built for my 79 Camaro, while I was in high school, had it painted, etc. Just did the messing around with friends on the "loop"-area where cars gathered and cruised on Friday and saturday nights. I always wanted to get into racing, and some showing...now I drive a mini van

Wow, it makes you feel so good to have internet friends that actually care about what you do in your life other than sit in front of the computer! Thank ya'll for being so kind in your remarks! Last night was opening night at the local race track here. The open wheel modifieds were there and I was thinking of Travis and how he is doing? Is tonite your opening night or was last Saturday? Let us know how he does!

Thanks for bumping my thread, how sweet!! Actually last week was first practice and today from 1 - 5 is second practice and next Saturday is our season opener and first points race at Fayetteville Motor Speedway. We might race at Dublin Speedway this coming Friday night too as that is nearby and is also season opener for that track. I know you must be hooked now that you've been to the local track!! Dirt track racing makes you holler, makes your heart slam in your chest makes me act more a fool than normal, lol!!! Love it, love it, love it better than chickens and that is saying ALOT!!

OMG Darlene!!! Travis is such a cutie!!! (don't tell him an old lady said that, it would gross him out! LOL!)

And those two girls look like beauty queens.
What fun. I'm a big NASCAR fan so I love any kind of racing (to watch, not participate)
My mom and her parents were barnstormers and pylon racers (in airplanes) so I guess speed is built in me! Maybe that's why I've had those speeding tickets

Wish him the best and keep us posted on the results.
