Wonderful Dog breeds..Past and present..

I love English Bulldogs, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Doberman, Beauceron, German Shepherd, Sheltie, Shih Tzu, Yorkie, Chihuahua, Maltese, Pekinese, and Poodle (standard and mini). Oh and Irish Wolfhound.

I'm sure there are others I've forgotten. Of all these breeds listed I've only owned a Doberman and Irish Wolfhound. But, with working at the vet clinic, the other breeds are the ones I most enjoy seeing and working with.

I always wanted an Irish wolfhound. They are magnificent dogs. You actually got to own one. :bow I'm so jealous. Closes I got was taking care of some Scottish deerhounds at a kennel I once worked at.

This is my first dog, Emil, a St. Bernard, so I can't say it's my favourite breed. We get along well, sometimes he's a little stubborn and: to be trusted around ducks but not around chickens! No way of teaching him to just be nice to them, they are so fluttery and smell soooo good! Every day he checks on the chicks in the brooder licking his mouth...

Then came Mausi, a street dog; such a lovable soft personality. No problem around birds; sometimes there seems to be a need to boss the cats around...

Cute...I hope he decides he likes chickens and not just chicken...:hmm....:frow

I've never owned one before but, definitely husky. Each one is so different from the next and they all have amazing personalities and little quirks that make them stick out. If we lived in a colder area, our family would have one.
Nice, I live in the cold but won't own a Husky only because they don't fit my lifestyle at all. They definitely have energy to burn...:frow..Im too lazy to keep one happy. :th
