Wondering about these GSLs!

That's the plan. The brooder isn't in the way and chick food isn't too expensive.

Just went to the local TSC they got them from and they don't have any GSL there. There was an empty Amberlink and white leghorn pullet brooder. Hopefully that's what they are!

Could be either. if it is white leghorns those combs should start getting big ASAP. It could be Amberlinks too.

My money is on Amberlinks. They look a little thick to be Leghorns. I had one Amberlink and several Leghorns last spring and the Amberlink stuck out like a sore thumb. I don't think they're sex link cockerels, I think were that the case you'd be seeing larger combs.

I hope I'm right and you're very happy with them in another 4-5 months

Gosh I sure hope so! Amberlinks would definitely be fine by me!

Regardless of breed, definitely at least one cockerel for sure. Pullets don't get that much color to the comb until they are nearing laying age.
