Vent sexing isn’t 100% accurate, even when done by professionals, as you can see from your cockerel.I was wrong, you are correct. He was checked by vent when he was young and no signs till the other day. You are 100% correct.
I understand. We wouldnt keep any cockerels if we ended up with one either. Hopefully you find a good home for him.Thank you, I'm trying to rehome him. I don't need and fertilizer eggs for baby's. Lol.
I know, but I had 10 hens and did fine without a rooster. I only wanted 2 hens this time. I just got a replacement, she looks just like the gray one. Fingers crossed she doesn't show any signs of a roo.Roosters have other purposes too. Unless you really can’t keep him there is no reason to be rid of him just because you don’t need fertilized eggs.
I would love to see them because sd he looks male, especially with the male specific coloring. She's a pullet I'll try and take a better picture. Later today.
Those are both fully mature. Cockerels look a lot different than roosters.First one's a female second one's a male, It is a pullet.
CorrectOk that’s fine. It’s not like the NEED a rooster, however, if you have just two hens then you shouldn’t keep him because he may overmate.
