Hi I adopted a mother hen and her babies who somebody abandoned, it is my first time taking care of chickens, they were in rough shape, over the course of a couple weeks I nursed the mother and babies back to healthy chickens and made them apart of our family, unfortunately one morning the mama hen got over my neighbors tall fence (still no idea how this happened) and his dogs hurt her, she had to be euthanized, in the coming days since then I've built the babies a coop and having been taking care of them, I've since bought two ameraucana, a red broiler, and an Australian authorpe chicks to raise and make them a flock but I still have no idea what the older chicks are if anyone.could help I'd really appreciate it

I bought the 4 from tractor supply and they said they were guaranteed female so hopefully ! They're barely a week old though also can anyone tell about how old these chickens are? And also a cockerel means male and pullet means female right?

I had a suspicion that the black one was a male, was kinda hoping one would be so he can look out for the others, thanks everyone!
