Lilbizzy was the lucky one to find it. It was in the nest box right next to the golf ball. We are so PROUD of the Girls!! It was bigger than a store bought *large* egg.

We got our 2nd egg too!!! I came home from work and decided to take a peek, and there it was!! It was smaller than the first egg by a little bit, but just as exciting to find!!! I don't know if it came from the same hen or a different one. And someone has been in the other nest box because I can see fluffybutt indentations. The "ladies"(as my neighbor calls them) are 17 1/2 week old red sexlinks. I showed pictures of my first egg at work today. And I told my neighbor ( the one whose yard "the ladies" always hang out in) and she got all excited and couldnt wait to tell her husband! Amazing how much excitement 1 egg can bring. Who'd have ever guessed?
