I personally think the price is not bad at all; not only did you have them processed and bagged, but cut up too. Id pay that in a skinny minute if someone was around here to do it.
It costs me a minimum $4/bird, plus mileage/gas. That includes bagged and chilled only. If they have time, they will freeze them. There isn't a single place in our state which processes, cuts up or freezes the birds for us small producers. It's a shame.
