Wood duck nestbox alternatives??????

I need help of thinking of a way to create some sort of nesting box for my wild waterfowl i was gonna order some boxes but with shipping and all total which was 12 the cost was like $500 and thats kinda steep for me but what are some cheap waus i can make nest boxes or something like them ive got the following birds:

White faceds
Ringed teal
Woodies
Manddies
Calls
Hopefully eytons and pintails

Just get some plywood and make your own. 12x12x24 (24 in back 20 in front or vise versa depending on which way you want the slant)
also could get some paint and some plastic buckets with lids.

If you have been to my aviary page you can see my pen and the side poles are 4x4's and the center poles that hold up my net are 4x4s. I just put screwes straight through the plastic buckets into the 4x4s to secure them. With the chain link i would just drill 2 holes at the top and 2 holes at the bottom and wire it to the chain link.

We use 1x12 either pine which would have to be sealed or painted, or cedar which is rot resistant but more expensive. We also have a few made from treated plywood.
