Wood shavings for the ducks

I spoke with the owner (neighbor) and he told me that sometimes their customers ask them to also take their scrap wood. The employees are advised not to take it and throw that into the shredder, but who would reject a nice tip…
Records? - Is that something similar to teeth? :lau
This is West Virginia! Who needs records when you have moonshine! ;)
mmmmmmmm moonshine! :drool

IDK is it? I will tell you this much, it burns beautifully in a fire with a wonderful aroma :love
Just looked it up on Wikipedia and it says:
»Sassafras albidum is an important ingredient in some distinct foods of the United States. It is the main ingredient in traditional root beer and sassafras root tea, and ground leaves of sassafras are a distinctive additive in Louisiana Creole cuisine.« :)
But also:
»Sassafras is no longer used in commercially produced root beer since sassafras oil was banned for use in commercially mass-produced foods and drugs by the FDA in 1960 due to health concerns about the carcinogenicity of safrole, a major constituent of sassafras oil, in animal studies.« :(
And, of course no information available about the "compatibility" between sassafras and ducks…

I bet root beer with a little moonshine in it would be tasty. Actually root beer is my only fav soft drink anyone for a root beer float?
I guess you have to be born here to like the taste of root-beer! I tried several brands and home-mades and - no! Don't like.
Abandoned all soft-drinks in 2014 and only drink 'em when there's nothing else available and then i look for something that is made with sugar and not with that high-fructose corn-crap. Lost 40lbs since then…

I rarely drink any other than in summer we’ll get a hankering for a root beer float. I even gave up sweet tea. As you know in the south it’s just about sweet enough to give you a diabetic comma drinking one glass. Good for you losing so much weight from stopping the soft drinks. I wasn’t raised on them so never aquired a taste, years ago when A&W Root Beer came to Jax Fla. man that was a special treat to get one of those.

Something i thaught was funny. Root beer is like black licorice in japan. They mostly all hate it. i told someone i met from japan what a root beer float was and him and his girlfriend gagged, They thaught A&W must be completely insane. it would be like black licorice and tonic water haha
