Woohoo First blue egg!

Went to the coop this morning the sun wasn’t up yet. I hung an led flash light up as I’m starting Saturday morning 13 hour shifts for a refinery shutdown. I’ll be letting the birds out early everyday so I’ll hang a light up. Our days are getting shorter now.
I filled up the waterer and returned to find this light blue egg on the ground. I’m thinking it is from Puff as this past week her comb has really swollen and have turned RED. A little calcium deposit on the end but hey it’s her first egg. She must have been in the nest box because all the bedding was disturbed as I always flatten it while waiting for the pullets to start laying. I have 3 more to start.

Funny, she laid the egg on the ground before the sun came up and 3 hours later she was in the nest box. Lol she’s got the schedule mixed up

The blue egg from this morning is quite light blue. Beautiful non the less. Now keeping my fingers crossed to see what the other 3 will do lol.
