Worm in chicken poop!

i feel really disgusted right now because while I was filling up my chickens water I saw this...

In a chickens poop.


It DOES NOT look like a earth worm to me and it is moving.
What kind of worm is this? It looks like it was eating the poop or something and I THINK I saw mini worms in it. I covered it with a bucket to keep my chicken ps from eating it but I was right ne'er it while filling there water. What kind of worm is it and how do I treat my hens?

It's a large roundworm and I can assure you there's more where it came from. Purchase valbazen liquid cattle/sheep wormer and dose all your chickens 1/2cc orally undiluted, then repeat again in 10 days.
OR, you can purchase safeguard liquid goat wormer and dose all your chickens 1/2cc orally undiluted for 3 days straight.
Use one wormer or the other...bye bye worms.

You have 17 birds, right? And aren't some BO's?

Yes and yes. The BOs are pretty big some of the others are too, but some are relatively small.

I've used the 125ml bottle of liquid goat wormer on a flock of 23 full sized birds and had plenty left over.

At 0.5ml per bird one would need only 8.5ml per day.
