The paste doesn't disolve in water. We gave our hens a pea size dose by mouth twice a day for 3 days & repeated dose after 10 days. I'm wondering if that is a good dose for our duck.

about 15 lbsHow much does the duck weigh?
OK. Thank you!A pea-sized blob contains ~25 mg of fenbendazole, and 15 pounds bird should probably get no less than 136 mg for five consecutive days, so you underdosed them.![]()
Just curious is it the same for Valbazen too ?
I have a duck that I suspect died from gapeworms and I now suspect that the one other in the flock might have them as well. I was doing some research and it said to do 3cc’s per 3 gallons of water for 3 days of the safeguard. If you want to worm for most worms a duck gets is 0.23 ml per pound orally for *five* consecutive days. This dose will treat roundworms, cecal worms, gapeworms, capillary worms and possibly some species of tapeworms.
How big is you duck?
