Still using that yeah, I manage to craft a makeshift "incubator" , which reads the temperature and activates a small fan once it gets too high. It worked so far as the temperature is sitting at 37 C with some drops at 36 but it quickly goes back up. idk how to manage the humidity so I just put a damp towel in the box if its too low and remove when it's too high.
I'll get a pic tonight when it's dark enough to see
That sounds great! Lower temps can delay things so it may be a little behind where you'd expect depending how long it was low for (from your other post) also I presume its not still wrapped in your sock? I am just speculating that that could have caused an interference with the air cell as any moisture lost from the egg would not have had anywhere to go,or at least would have slowed things down. The low temps could also have played a part in that.

I hope by pictures you mean the candling and pics of your 'incubator' set up :pop

Yeah that's what I meant by pictures, and I have it in some foam thing, idk if it's good
I started down this whole crazy journey with a bedside lamp in a fish tank, I'm sure whatever you use is fine as long as it keeps the right temps, humidity and its easy enough to get to the egg to turn! That's all it really needs, oh and some air flow.

What I have right now

Wow, that's a lot of wires for one little egg

It looks good though. Might be worth thinking now about how you will keep the humidity high when it comes to hatching. (and keep it high, whilst still keeping the egg warm, without getting moisture in your electrics :hmm)

Does your college not have access to an incubator or something you could use, even if just for hatching?

Not a problem :)

I think @WVduckchick is right about it not being as far along as the 20 days. That looks more like a 14 dayish egg to me, and mine hatch in 28 days so you're looking a bit further back still I would think.

At least your air cell looks more on track now though ;)

I'll check in a few hours see if it's grown, but I guess if it doesn't grow at all I can just make a hole?
