That is always a possibility, but too much salt is dangerous as well.  It's best NOT to give salt in the water.  Her feed should have the appropriate amount.  If you feel like she needs something added to her water, you can add some poultry vitamins once or twice a week. Follow the directions on your package or bottle. Give fresh clean plain water the rest of the time.

Can you please tell me what to do if its cranker, can i treat her just to make sure?

Can you please tell me exactly what i have to do? Do i pull it out? Do i apply the mixture onto it or do i let it drink it?

I've looked around the house for some copper sulfate cause i knew i had some and i think i have found it, not sure though so here is a picture, please confirm.

Unfortunately i can't, but can't you cure cranker with apple vinger, water and copper sulfate?

I am pretty sure this is the mixture to cure cranker.


2 ½ litres of water
1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
1 gram of copper sulphate

Please correct me if i am wrong.
