Worried about my Pet Goose

when my goose saw my parents doing the garden and they went in my goose got panicy and wanted to be out. She sticked her head across and ran away from me, I then followed her and then I sat and she greeted me then jumped away. when I let her out she was fine but why does my pet domestic goose gets like that, as she calmed down now, does it mean she goes of me or scared of me. I AM VERY WORRIED HERE, IF SHES GOING OFF ME AND BTW SHE IS ONLY 11 MONTHS OLD

Is she a single goose? Because you really should never keep one goose alone. They aren't humans, they know they aren't humans, and they need a goose to hang out with. As she gets older, comes into her hormones, and matures, she's going to act more and more like the goose she is and less like a baby gosling that was happy to hang out with humans. Now she wants a goose companion, as she should.

Yes because my parents wont let me have another with her as we only have a normal house hold with a bigish garden and only get another when we move in 3 years, realy its my parents fault. Also they said just wait till we move till me get 2 or few more now I got away with it and just got one.. But my friend and another farmer said when she is adult 1 or 2 she be ok I hope their right.

A goose is a flock bird so yes they do appreciate company. But since she was raised as a single gosling she shouldn't be too scared of you. The bond stays until you get another goose otherwise she sees you as protection. But the lack of bonding also causes a goose to ignore humans. It's completely normal behavior and most geese don't appreciate being touched anyway. Just sit down with food in your hand and talk with her without touching. They like that

il try keep more time with her and help her etc when she comes round more , she been not as bad today she ran of a little when I was going inside with my family then se was ok,
