that at least isn't contagious. My sisters chicken had that too. I had to put her down for her. I'm curious what feed you're giving them. The problem my sister had was she had chicks and was giving her adult chickens (non-medicated) chick starter which has a higher protein content. And it was causing Liver problems in her flock.

It's awful to loose your birds when you don't know what's going on or how to fix it. :hugs
They get 16% layer pellets free choice and 20% layer mash free choice and they free range when ever the weather is nice. For treats they get wild bird seed, grapes, berries, watermelon rinds ect in summer, oatmeal [year round]. In winter they get wild bird seed, shell corn, cabbage, kale veggie scraps. We raise [off property] beef steers and butcher so I cook and grind the organ meat and give it to them with oatmeal in winter when it's bitter cold.
