RIRs, always got human aggressive cockerels/roosters. Raised way too many of them.
I like them cuz they're pretty, but never really got any friendly males, except for one, out of the 3 years raising them.
Oh man, I keep seeing all these posts about RIR being aggressive. Hopefully nothing changes in my flock. I have one RIR pullet and I recently purchased two more baby chicks. So let’s see how the chicks turn out to be? But as far as my pullet (Jolene) she’s exactly 16 weeks today and she seems friendly to other hens, very docile with me and my kids. She lets us pick her up and she’s real smart. She even knows when we are calling her by her name, she’ll come to us.

RIR, pullets/hens tend to be more on the bossy side to other flock members. I haven't really had human aggressive pullets/hens, but I've had skittish ones.

I had an aggressive RIR hen. I only had one, so this is a limited experience. She was a vicious bully to the other hens and she would peck me and draw blood. I did see a lot of others reporting similar experiences w this breed. So I would never get another RIR. Also, they have big combs subject to frostbite….and I don’t want any more of those, either.

I don't like silkies. At all.
I think that polishes are really dumb, but they're cute.
I wouldn't get barnevelders again. One died of pox, one died of an accident, and the other was very deformed. Not good.

I've had 9 RIRs and none have been aggressive in any way. I've found that they live a long time. I had one live till 6, the other one from the same batch until 9.

I think like some silkies, a lot of the dumb Ness has to do with if they can see well, though to be fair my male silkie has hardly any crest and he's dumber than an empty skull.

But I had a buff laced polish with a giant, beautiful crest that was very.... not smart. That also could have been the result of a damaging peck to the back of her he'd when she was a pullet that made her almost comatose for a few days.

The black crested whites I had had much smaller crests and could see relatively well. One learned that if she wanted to be carried, she had to climb the stairs to the second level deck and peck at the window

Yes. I had 2 buff polishes. They were so stupid. I've seen a lot of other buff polishes on the internet that are also stupid. Don't know what happened there. It's just mostly the buff ones.

I feel like I'm the only one with intelligent Silkies(Except 2, of my Bantam Silkies I got from a show quality breeder though)

Will never get black sex links again. The two I had were mean, nasty girls who bullied a pullet and killed her and started on another one. I also will never get another light brahma. Had two, they were the ones bullied. They don't stick up for themselves and the one that survived hardly lays eggs and her feet are nasty in my weather. I miss my first flock, three slw and two easter eggers. They got along so well but stopped laying eggs. So I got rid of them. If only they would have kept laying, even an egg a week from each, I would still have them
