I just found this..
I havent had a "worst" breed in my experience, yet.
I have had
Rhode Island Reds - very docile and vocal.
White Leghorns - CRAZY, but not enough to never own again, very vocal, did I mention crazy?
Black Copper Marans - they were very happy go lucky hens.
I had 1 big fat buff coachin that I loved. She was great all around.
Barred Rocks - happy and vocal, not super friendly, but pleasant.
Pure, but not high quality Light Brahmas - these have been my favorite all around so far. This rooster is AMAZING. This flock don't live with us anymore, i do see them often. Vocal, friendly, great mommas, foragers extraordinaire, very confident.
I currently have 2 silkie flocks -
Partridge - they are super friendly and sweet, not real smart tho.
Buff - the rooster, Shaemus is 5 hands full, always starting some sh*t with the other roo. They are sweet also.
My Polish (black w/ white crest) are crazy and funny. The roo is super friendly and confident. Not agressive with me or his hens. The girls are flighty and funny. They have huge crests making it hard to see whats going on around them. They startle sort of easy, but as soon as they figure out whats happening, they are fine again.
I have a game roo and his game hen.. she is perfect, as long as she don't have chicks. With chicks, she is a force to be reckoned with until the chicks are around 3 weeks old. After that, she is trusting of me and my dog, but not other chickens.
She is like this until she completely weans the chicks and I remove them from each other... If she has no chicks, she is the BEST.
Her roo...
I almost hate him, LoL..
But, I wouldnt judge the breed on him alone. He is an a**hole jerk. But he loves his hen and all chicks. Her chicks and all the other chicks too.
He hates me tho.
LoL..

My RIR rooster, I tried to keep him but he got really aggressive and tore up our hens, he would always chase us and would not let the other chickens eat. Overall the hens are fine! they are great egg layers and very sweet chickens though I would not recommend the roosters for someone who has kids!!

I have several different breeds (14, I think?). None are the "worst," and I love all of my birds, but my Welsummer was kind of difficult. She was noisy and flighty and neurotic, but I think it was her - not the breed. My Cochin is fantastic, but she's kind of hard to take care of.

Straight up my Dominique roo. My sebright is bad but he’s tiny. My Dominique roo on the other hand was a 20lb rocket that would take off at the slightest movement. So I’m with you on that one.
But on another note, my silkie cross roo is the best bird I have. He’s so sweet and friendly to the girls. But I will agree on silkie roosters having a nasty crow. My cross is fine and my recently deceased white bearded was fine but GAH the new guys I have sound like they’re dying. Anyone want a silkie rooster????
:yuckyuck
