Can any of you learned chicken people tell me what breed my chickens are please?? I know the rooster is a Silky....is his size bantam?

I don't think there are large sized silkies, they are all bantams! Snuggly little guys

Red sex-links, which have several other names like Red Comet, Red Star, Gold Comet, Production Red, etc. The black ones are most likely Black Australorps. Purebred silkies are bantam although your boy look larger when placed next to the other chickens.

I got him from the animal welfare (RSPCA) & he was recorded as a Chinese Silky. Hes a touch smaller than the black girls, but about the same size as the brown hen. I wouldnt know if he was a mixed breed.
I have seen other pure bred silkies & he is bigger. ***wondering what chicks will look like?? 0.o***
I might just go with Red Star....easier to remember & Black Australorps...OK got it. Thankyou. Ive had these for a while & havent a clue what they were LOL.
We got them from a pet store as 3 day old chicks...so Im guessing they might have come from the same flock??
They are lovely to have around anyway
