Would it be bad of me?

I was thinking of posting pictures when I have to amputate my birds toe. I know I will have to do it or take her to a vet. If I do it should I post pictures for all to learn by? Tell me what you think.

Edited-I was given step by step instructions by Dr. Brown. He gave me a lot of info and a lot of confidence that I can do this procedure and it may even save my birds life, if I do it before it gets to the foot area. Right now it is just the tip 1/3 of the toe.

I would seriously be interested, but I freely admit I am kind of strange. All the medical stuff just totally interests me. I'd let people with more sensitivities answer.

Posting pictures of a surgical procedure is okay as long as you put a warning in the title that there are graphic photos in your post. You should also announce it in your first paragraph and then you might consider putting links to the photos rather than loading the actual picture.

Thanks for asking before posting.

I know some people are upset at surgery pics and such but I was afraid that I was going to have to use the "crop surgery" posts not long ago. Thank goodness it didn't come to that but I felt better knowing the info was here. I say take Chel's advise and go for it. More knowledge can never be a bad thing. And Good luck! I was sorry to read about your baby, I hope that it gets better.
