This girl turns 18 in a few weeks. She’s going to miss her prom. Her high school/early college graduation. And her 18th birthday. She’s crushed. It was supposed to be such a special year. Now she can’t even see her friends that day.
It’s “no big deal” in the grand scheme of things, but it sure is to her. I’ve got a bunch of friends from across the u.s sending her cards and her friends are going to make a combined birthday greeting video, but I’d welcome ideas to make it “quarantine special”.
I’m an essential employee so still working a ton of hours (including on her bday) and I’ve already bought her big birthday/graduation gift a few months ago (a car) so she doesn’t have a gift to look forward to, either.
