Would somebody please translate this ordinance?

There's a feed store in town (the address is my city) and they sell chicks every spring along with everything you need to take care of chickens.

Well, chickens would look nice right in the middle of your yard, wouldn't they :) I think I would go with a mobile coop for sure.
I wondered if they had something saying that chickens must always be contained, and what they considered contained. They do say "fenced yard" in section B as part of the "what must be 100 feet away"... so is that only the chicken coop run, or would they would argue that you can not let your chickens out in your fenced yard, if they can get within 100 feet of your house or the neighbors.
The main town around here allows chickens within city limits ... but you must have three acres and a permit, good luck with that. There are farm/hardware type stores in town that sell chicks in the spring, wonder if they have three acres. We live in the country and are zoned ag thank goodness, but a lot of friends that live in nearby towns have been trying to get chickens, half the laws and regs are ridiculous, most of them have about given up trying to be "legal" and just hope the neighbors are reasonable.
