Well my bil's dog was chasing my chickens again today. They live next door and she comes over to play with my dogs and poo on my lawn.
I took my dogs in and heard my 8 week chicks making noise and then saw them running. She was chasing them. Just an fyi she is a puppy. A pug to be exact. I am sure she is not trying to hurt them, but just trying to play. I don't want her chasing them obviously because when they were younger she chased them and I lost two BRs for good.
Well a couple of weeks ago she got into the pig pen. We have four pigs and they have their pen all mucked up. She got through the mud and poo bad! We thought it was funny and my bil did NOT! So I was thinking of ways I can get them to keep an eye on the dog. Tonight I was screaming to the dog to leave my chicks alone and they watched my out the garage window. They watched me chase down the dog and I carried her over and told them to keep an eye on their dog. They were not concerned!
This is the evil part....
I have decided that maybe (when they aren't looking) the pug will get into the pig pen and get all mucky for now on. Hmm. What a shame that would be? I am going to start putting her in there now and then. Maybe this will make them want to keep an eye on her from now on. Do you think? Dog after dog bath a few times a day won't be any fun for them! Pig poo is NO FUN!
