Would you let the economy play a role in deciding to have another baby

As long as you think you can cover the basics, diapers and formula, and a little $ for the nursery, you'll be fine. both of my babies were born in really tough financial times for us, but they never went without, I'm not one who required a $15,000 nursery and all the latest and greatest gear, I loved a good garage sale, and hand-me-downs for friends.

both of my girls were suprises, but I know how crazy it is "trying"(we tried for one more but no luck) you always think about the what-ifs, I don't think there's any getting rid of that.

just make sure to start prenatals now instead of after you get a + test, my niece has spina bifida and will never walk and has had several major surgeries and a lot more to come. upon diagnosis, the dr. told my sister there's a good chance it could have been prevented had she started prenatals sooner.
(sorry, got off topic there)

our son is 10 and an 8 yr old daughter, I provide VERY affordable childcare for 2 infants and that really puts into perspective for our 10 yr old and 8 yr old what it would be like to have a baby brother or sister. They are very thankful when they go home! they love them like they are siblings (have had both sence their mothers went back to work) but they also enjoy their lives and the amount of time they get with us. Starting with infants has totally allowed me to have my baby fix and partisipate in all that the kids do now

My sister wanted to have another child she already had two and guess what she got 2 more she had twins boys and the other two were boys so something to think about but will be too later by the time you know I suppose. She and everyone is glad and loves them just as much but she says she is done done lol.

Good luck!

I'm of the thought that if you feel like you can support them in ways you feel as you should... go ahead! For some that might just be the basics, for others that may be the basics plus college fund, car fund, savings accounts etc. That is up to you. My parents waited till they were mid 30s and mid 40s.
