Would you report this?

Yep, yep and yep. Not fair to the innocent kid walking down the sidewalk, the family in the minivan, the newlyweds on their way to their honeymoon, or the mom pushing the newborn in the stroller, any of which who could be this individuals next victim if you don't. JMHO.

On the other hand... he might kill off some nasty criminals that keep getting out of jail to commit more crimes aganist people.....

All this above AND the fact he is transporting Prisoners... Do you know what kind of havoc loose escaped prisoners could cause. Steal a car, yep. Rob someone, yep. Sexual assault Yep. Murder, Yep! I live with 5 maximum security prisons within 15 miles of my home. I worked for 8+ years at one. Every one around here would call and report that dangerous situation. If the driver loses his job he DESERVES it!

Yes you should report it, and tell them you sped up and paced the bus for a minute so you could give them an accurate speed. No you don't need to report yourself,, and you don't need to worry about getting in trouble. You do need to be concerned for the safety of those in the transport bus and on the road. You would feel awful if you didn't report it and you read later that driver killed people.

As a 911 Operator/Dispatcher, as of now, there is nothing that the police can do about it. You can call the prison that the bus was from and report it to them for them to handle. They should know who was driving that day.

If you had called while you were following him, the dispatchers could have probably gotten someone to you.

There was a van traveling too fast for icy /snowy road
conditions during our storm on Dec 22, I-70 near Limon.
Was a correctional van for CCA carrying 9 inmates.
Crashed- one Correctional Officer & one inmate killed.

Another young CO was killed on road crash after leaving the home of the
officer killed in the crash. Both worked at the Kit Carson Correctional Facility.

It could save lives to report.
