I need to get new pictures posted..... her poor tailhead is so drooped it's pitiful, I can NOT get this black tissue/dried blood off of her, it's firmly attached, I have no idea HOW to get it off of her without inflicting nasty pain. But the swelling has gone down a lot and the redness is all but gone, I don't know if she'll ever feather out again the way she's tore up but like a 3 legged dog, she'll adapt and be fine. She' walks a little funny as well, but I'm betting thats from the leg wound she has, it probably hurts, it would be equivalent to a torn open knuckle on a human, any time you move or stretch it out it hurts and tears open again so I'll have to see if that improves as well. She sure has spunk though, she's as happy as if she had good sense and I SWEAR she knows she's getting treats when she's "good" and lets us do whatever we need to do to clean her up, she's so patient and forgiving for our incompetence in avian health
