Hi.
A few days ago I washed my hens poopy butt, and she had this horrible open wound with maggots in it. I have since given her daily salt baths. The maggots appear to be gone, and the wound itself looks much better. I am still bewildered with the wound and not exactly shure what the center part of it is. Looks like some of her innerds, and it was much more graphic when is was "fresh".
Any ideas / guidance on this? She is eating, drinking, talking, etc

What you are dealing with is flystrike. Everything you did was the right thing to do. As long as maggots did not get into the abdominal cavity she has a very good chance to recover, and it sounds as if she is doing well. Continue to monitor to make sure that no more maggots show up. You can use plain neosporin or veterycin spray on the wound. keep her where no flies can get to her until she's healed up. The wound will scab over and it will heal from the edges in, it could take several weeks, or longer, to be completely healed.
Here is some more info, some have graphic photo's:

Thank you so much. I dont know if they would still be in there. For her first bath, there were tons that came out! Ugh. And the wound looks better each day. I have her kept in a pen in the garage away from everyone else.
How would I be able to tell if they got "up in there"?
I do have some Prozap, that I am planning on putting on her.

If they had gotten inside, she would probably not be feeling well at all. Sounds like you flushed it well, and probably got them out. Sometimes they can continue to hatch, but sounds like it may have been long enough that it isn't likely now. But keeping her away from flies is important, they will find the wound and it could start again. You likely found it, and took care of it in time.

I'd do some grooming/trimming of feathers around your chickens' vents to avoid poopy butt, do a good cleaning of the coop/run to remove temptations for flies to settle in, and throw up some fly strips in the run/coop.
