I forgot to say how sorry I am that this happened, it's so hard to find them like that.

All right, so me and DM just went back out and cleaned, ointment, and bandaged her again. She didn't like us touching the scabs, but we had to. She also has a wound right above her shank, which I cleaned out. We figured out why she wasn't eating, which was because her food was too low for her neck, so we moved it up and she ate a bit. YAY!

I am glad to hear you have gotten her to eat and drink now, If I was you I'd move her inside till she heals, plus the mink will return, if your encloseur was breeched you may want to do some additional work there so this doesn't happen again.

Yes, she is in the garage now that is attached and enclosed. There will be some definite repair work going on out there.

In the heat you have to watch for maggots, so be sure to check it alot. when it starts to scab real good, then take off the bandage and let the air get to it. I like to use a product called Vetericyn. you can buy it at TSC, it's pretty pricey but works miracles. There is another product that I have heard people talk about to keep flies off but I can't remember what it's called. Hope she heals quickly.

I know, the bandage keeps slipping so I had to put a bit of medical tape on the top of her head to keep it there. I hope it works.
