Glad everything turned out well, and you were able to help. Too bad your boss did not mention safety issues with cows and calves. They can be very (insanely) protective of calves, and people get killed every year by aggressive mama cows. Glad you are safe. Next time, just be aware you could get killed and stay super light on your feet. Stay safe. No calf is worth more than you.

Great job!! I worked on a dairy for 5 years and delivered lots of calves and now I raise longhorns, I love calving time! It is so amazing watching that new little calf enter the world. No matter how many times you see it, I am still in awe. Congrats again!
