Stupid Drama.

Phobias.

Part of the reason stupid phobias exist is people are allowed special treatment because they're scared of spiders and snakes and hieghts and water and doors and phones. When I hired on at my job 30+ years ago we had an old man out there that specialized in curing whatever phobia you had. He proclaimed that he came up working in the oil field when rigs were made out of wood and men were made out of steel.

Case in point had a guy that "claimed" to be scared of hieghts, everyday maybe 3 times a day that old man would find a reason to send that guy to the top of the tallest structure in the facility. The guy had a choice to either get his butt to the top over come his phobia or quit. Simple- easy-cut to the chase- over and done. The job required climbing, if you were scared of hieghts you had no business out there, everybody was expected to do their job-- everybody!
