Wow!!! They can almost fly!

rock on! that is awesome! i like the ones that get off the roosts in the morning with a huge thud. or crash into a wall, other chickens, ME...you know whatever there is, they'll thud or crash right into it.

like a kid learning to ride a bike. there can be ONE tree on the whole block and the kid will ride right into it because they are concentrating so hard on the object they don't want to hit. i think chickens are like that...X 10.
 
my bantam hen can fly like a bird. she will go from the ground to the top of a tree aprox 15 ft

she's a tiny little hen she measures about 4 in (height) I think something came wrong because she is the smallest bantam i've ever seen in my life ALL the chickens I raised are all little well were little cuz i don't have any no more but they are STANDARD not BANTAM

When I let the girls out for some free ranging time they soar and run in circles and leap and jump!
Maybe they can't smile but that is chicken joy
