I also have another question, not sure if this is the proper thread for it but here goes. I currently have 2 chicks in my brooder that is 2'x2'x4' . I would like to add maybe 3 more would the space I have be enough for 5 chicks total? Also what would be a good laying breed to get? I currently have an Americana and a buff. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have a decent back yard to be able to free range them so I would like to get the best fit for my situation. My kids are loving the ones we have so far and I plan on using these to teach my 4 and 6 year old responsibilities while creating laying memories for the future. Thanks
