Try placing a cardboard box in that corner she lays in. If she takes to it, you could gradually move it closer towards the nest boxes all sneaky like...I hope you get some good olive Egger pullets. I love my Olive Eggers. My girl Blue is my favorite and as you can see by her back she is also my Rooster’s favorite. She is the most friendly hen I have and one of the most protective she regularly lays 4-5 days in a row then takes one day off. My only issue with her is that she refuses to use the nest boxes and always lays her eggs in the far corner of the coop so I have to go inside the run and retrieve them from the back door.
Her daughter is almost 17 weeks old and looks almost just like her. Same colors feathered legs, full beard. Only real difference is she has a straight comb and her mother has a pea comb. I’m still waiting to see if she inherited the blue egg gene
