Wrath's Marans

Frankly as long as it’s cropping up in your F1/F2 BCMs and F0 BSMs it’s a really good start. You don’t even really need to understand it (though I’m sure we will keep digging), just let it spread across your flock as a telltale sign of good marans.

I imagine one day I’ll randomly find one (at least I hope so), and I’ll try and test it to determine the genes behind it. But as you know, there’s a few obstacles in the way there.
I’d be interested to see (not to give you more projects…) what happens if you crossed two of the head spot chicks when they grow, particularly from the two different lines. Whether or not all the offspring have head spots could tell us a lot.

Oh that's a great idea.

As far as both the BCMs I know the one from Bator is female, so if the Rebel ends up a male this would be a fun project as well just to see what happens depending of course how they both turn out.
Maybe @Pumperkinz could get in on this as well if interested.

King don't have the best looks but he beats out Kong in the Dad department.
