I need to do a head count just in Kongs coop, but that pic is maybe 1/2. The bigs were mostly headed for roost and the littles like to stay out a bit longer to avoid the chaos.Just a couple, not very many at all, you definitely need more.
Good question, but don't remember. I'll do math tomorrow. How big are your coops and roughly how many do you have per? I'm just curious, not going to lecture on space requirements, lol
Kings, Kongs, Poppys, bachelor and babies big brooder are in a 24x24 pole barn...the reason I noted outside for the ducks and bantams.Good question, but don't remember. I'll do math tomorrow.
Some I know..
There's 21 total in Kings coop, 16 in Poppys, 3 cockerels in a bachelor coop, 14 babies in a big separate brooder, 2 ducks in an outside coop, and 5 bantams in a 4x4 outside coop.
Kongs coop I'll have to look up numbers for birds (there's alot) and I'll measure all. Kongs coop is over max, but I think the amount of poopboards (5), 4 extra roosts, 8 nest boxes and 3 brooders under poopboards helps add that second level of space.
