Writing a story in a chicken's eyes! UPDATE Pg. 75!

Kelly's Chickens :

I love your story and can't wait for more of it!!
I'm glad to hear that Daisy is improving. It's really frustrating when our beloved pets can't tell us what's wrong with them. May I suggest adding some raw garlic to the yogurt you're giving Daisy. Just put a clove through a garlic press and mix it in really well. It's a natural antibotic and it's antiviral so it will help no matter what's wrong with her. Add a clove or two to her water too.

Ok, I will try that.

I think we have some...

You don't need to freak out. You have a gazzilion positive comments on here so one negative one shouldn't have that effect on you.

I've apologized for this twice before on this thread, but I'll apologize again because that was my little brother. And if it makes you feel better my mom has punished him for saying that, he said two nasty posts on my thread - but knowing my little brother he was doing it just to get comments. He really doesn't think your story is bad. In fact, he wants me to read it to him and he asks if there's been another chapter a lot.

Ok, I understand, but I'm the kind of person that takes things to heart.

Nobody could just let a comment lile that blow off easily, especially when it's their story.

No hard feelings. I understand how that can be, my big sis really takes things to heart too. I live with it.

I'm so glad Daisy and Chicklet are feeling better. You are taking such good care of them. Don't give them too much honey as it has some botchulinum in it, a bacteria whose toxins, even in small amounts, can be very deadly. That's why the labels on honey containers always say not to give honey to infants under one year of age. I am assuming a similar rule applies to chickens of all ages due to a chicken's small size. A little honey at a time is fine, just keep in mind the botchulinum.
P.S. I just read your story - it's fantastic!

Isn't honey antibacterial? It seals out the moisture really well, it works great on wounds. And the warnings are because it's so sticky that infants can choke on it...that's what the bottles of honey say, as well everything I've heard.
