Hey, ChickLover. Your story is really,
really cute. As an aspiring author myself, I understand how fun it is to write and create worlds, characters, and adventures.
Also, did I read right? You're not even in high school? This is EXCELLENT writing for someone your age. Seriously. I'm on COLLEGE and I have read some REAL junk from fellow students. The fact that your writing is THIS good at your age is a sign that you have AMAZING potential.
However, I'm going to make myself really unpopular by saying this... Do NOT rush to finish a chapter just for other peoples' sake. Write at your own pace. It's DEFINITELY good to have someone there, urging you to continue, but rushing out chapter after chapter with minimal editing isn't helping YOU.
Also, if you like, I would be happy to beta read and/or critique for you. I'm an English major, so I promise I'd be helpful.
Just an offer, though. Don't feel pressured at all to accept.
I'm terribly sorry about your precious Daisy and Chicklet. I know how hard it is to lose a chicken, especially after fighting so hard to keep them alive. I've lost a couple of my flock to illness, and a few to my terrible sister's terrible dog... If you need to take time away from BYC, by all means, do so. Do what's best for YOU.
You're in school, so your homework and extracurricular activities should come before this story, as much as I know some of your more... adamant followers will disliking me for saying that.
I eagerly await continuation, but I can be patient. I have some stories I've been waiting, literally, years for an update on. Your followers should realized how blessed they are to have received so many updates in such a short amount of time. Writing is art, and you know what they say?
You can't rush art.
Happy writing~
