I know, but that's not what's getting me worked up... People are stopping reading my story because of it.

Don't let them get to you ChickieLover, if they stopped reading your story just because of that then they weren't true fans anyways. The thread will be better off without them. Now you can continue without the people who caused the argument in the first place.

Is it really fair to disappoint all your other fans, just because of a few members who are leaving this thread anyways?
