Last night while we were bringing out girls in from outside, one kicked our silkie in the head when she went to jump on a perch. Immediately after our silkie had wry neck.
It seems to have worsened overnight so I separated her from the others.
There is vitamin e in her water. I also have capsules i can use. I read she could use selenium, but nowhere have I read the doses for either.
Strangely enough, she seems almost completely normal outside, and I've attached a video of her outside. However, she is barely drinking and this scares me How much water should I give her and how do I know she's had enough. Also, as soon as I bring her inside it's a complete 180. her head is stuck sideways and she just wants to sleep.
Help, please!

I'm by no means an expert on chicks... however... can you give a pic of the chick...perhaps head on? It may be dislocated... I think if her spine were broken she'd be dead by now. This probably calls for a vet visit if you can afford one! I also cant see the vid for outside.

I can't get the video to work for w/e reason. These are her head on if I pick her up. She is walking and running around, so i'm not worried about her spine being broken. I'm worried if the cure is the same for normal, or if it could be brain damage.

So her head is bent to the side and kinda down... This is strange.... have you tried pushing it back gently to a 'normal position' if she cries out then I'd suggest definite damage, possibly spine or something at the very topbut this is strange if she walks around fine.

She can put it into a normal position for a few seconds herself, like if shes running or going to eat something on the ground. I've been massaging it with no issues. But then it just goes back to this. It's why I think it's wry neck, but is the cure for wry neck caused by injury the same as wry neck from vitamin deficiencies?
