We have straight Vit E and Selenium that our mill adds to large grain mixes. We have been "dropping" that in the chicks beak. Makes a mess and doesn't seem to be helping. Hard to believe it's still alive.

The B vitamins are crucial for recovery. Get a vitamin mix for poultry from the feed store that includes B vitamins and give that to the chick.
