Wow! I read your post and for a second I thought it was my own!
I have a little one, appropriately named Rye who also has wry neck.
I have been treating for 6 weeks now. Initially she was so bad it was hard to watch and I had her in the house. Then I put her out in the coop, she restablished pecking order (low) and seemed to be ok. Then relapse, then ok, then relapse, etc.
I did vit B and E twice a day with selenium, adventually getting rid of the selenium. (dont think i used the right kind anyway) I also used a novo doxylin antibiotic which I was sure worked but now I wonder if it was a coincidence because each time she relapsed, the relapse was a little less severe.
Then one time, Dec 3rd, she relapsed hard. She was twisting all over the place and someone suggested I inject vit b12, which I had because I have a deficiency. It was not an instant cure, but a slow improvement and no relapses since.
Also another thing I am doing is sleep in the dark. I used to keep flurescent lights on all night because in cold weather they do not turn on easily so I just left them on, been doing this for about 6 weeks.
Since I switched to a regular bulb and darkness for 6 to 8 hrs she seems good. I am down to the oral vit b and e every 2 days.
Hang in there and I dont know if your little chickie is in pain but I know my little chickie is so grateful to be well when she is well!
From what I read, wry neck can be fully recovered from.
