So looking at the videos from the camera it seems like he hurt himself last night on the roost.

Can he move his head or is he stuck with it off to one side? What do you feel - if it is an abscess you should be able to feel the lump. I still can't really see what is going on there.

It's his bone not a lump. He can move it but it stays to one side.

So if it is his neck then wry neck is a possibility - it doesn't need to be star gazing.
But you mentioned injury - what did you see happen on the camera?
I am thinking vitamins for wry neck wouldn't hurt and maybe some pain meds if it is an injury.
