Wryneck! Need help please!

It's totally his neck bone. I did not see what happen all I know is he most likely fell off the perch and grabbed it with his neck.

So it could be a sprain making him hold his neck strangely.
I would be tempted to give him some baby dose anti-inflammatory like Advil to make him more comfortable.

Ahh... Okay. So how do I treat this? I know others will get on here too 🥰
IF its an abscess then you need to get it to drain. If you don't it will fester, and can keep growing. Abscesses are terrible for all animals regardless of its normal livestock or poultry.

BUT that's IF its an abscess. If its not then you don't do this.

...

If its an abscess you can tell by feeling a sort of puffy fluid mound around the site. sometimes there's some kind of puncture there. The fluid mound is noticeable and easily verifiable as its edges where the abscess mound starts are dramatic in the border of where the fluid sack starts.

Also, to treat them you have to keep it clean while it heals up after the fluid is released. (Won't be easy to do with an animal thrashing around.)

...

If its wryneck is the problem not enough water while swallowing other food? I haven't had problems with wryneck before. So please exercise caution in differentiating between wryneck and abscesses as I can't give you more information on wryneck.

It doesn't matter what you call it. He probably has damaged nerve connections. You need to treat it with people vitamin B complex and vitamin E capsules 400iu. Give one of each directly into his beak each day. It may take a couple of days or a couple of weeks to see improvement.
Will do. Should I leave him inside or outside? Right now he is crowing in my room where I have him.

He did turn his head and neck the other way to clean himself but could not reach his back end .
