WTB: Anyone Out There Raising Derbyshire Redcaps?

I am searching high and low for Derbyshire Redcap chicks or hatching eggs. I haven't been able to find any hatcheries that have them and would love to buy from someone on BYC who is currently raising them.

Deb, the only hatcheries I have found that carry them are Murray McMurray and Sandhill Preservation. I'm hoping to start a flock myself. I have a 4 week old pullet from McMurray right now.

Did it come as your rare chick?

I contacted them and they are sold out of them until next year. (They don't even hatch them they contract them.)

I will have to look at Sandhill Preservation.
