Hi Everyone,
I am having problems getting an order of Pinless Peepers ordered...The shipping costs from eggcartons.com and Randall Burkey are killing me...They want either $19 (eggcartons.com) or $25 (Randall Burkey) in shipping to send me 10 or 20 peepers, plus the cost of the peepers. I can't imagine they are that big and heavy to justify the price.
If I can find a way to pay around $10 in shipping, that would be more reasonable.
If anyone has some peepers to spare at a reasonable cost including shipping to Ontario, I would be grateful. I really only need 2 pair, but I would like 10 if possible to have on hand in case I need them again later.
They must be unused and pinless. I don't care what colour or brand as long as they will fit a RIR hen.
I will also pay for the peepers themselves. I have a Paypal account.
If you may be able to help, please let me know.
Thank you.
Lisa

Thanks. Unless I ship to family in the US and go pick it up when I see them/they come up here.

That is EXACTLY what I do. I'm US born, and I work/study in the US. I ship things to my parents' house, and pick it up. You end up with far less delays due to customs. Many people are reluctant to ship from the US to Canada because to get delivery confirmation is crazy expensive, so you can't prove that the item was delivered if the buyer files a PP claim, or claims they never got the item.

Hi Deanner03,
Well, if I can't get them easily, I will be going to Florida in April. I just really don't want to wait that long if I don't have to. I have suspected egg-eaters, and want to stop them in their tracks now, and the peepers is just one part of my strategy.
Thanks for the input!
Lisa
