Thank you I couldn’t see that. Cleaned everything and treated last night and amping up protein and vitaminsThey have mites, you can actually see some of them in the pics you posted.
My quail are about a year and a half old. I know they're on the downward of their lifespan but, they went through what looked like a molt, and then their feathers never came back! Oh, and ALL ten of them have this and have stopped laying eggs totally. This is horrible for me as they are my source of eggs and were laying a reliable ten eggs a day.
They are acting completely normal, eating a ton as usual and drinking, getting warmth and light, still loving their dust baths. I haven't changed a thing about diet, water, or sand bath. I'm baffled.
Anyone know what this is? No flock exposure to any other birds at all, they are not being bred right now, their rooster is in another habitat. They are inside in an insulated garage with no cars in it, and they have a heat source.
Someone advise!!!! I'm sad.

Can’t figure out how to edit this so here’s the result-
Y’all were 100% right. Mites. Treated birds and cages with Scalex two days in a row. I also have them mass amounts of mealworms as I realize they were probably anemic and needed protein.
They started growing their feathers back and dropping tons of eggs on day TWO, literally almost immediately. No sign of mites in the other quail in the habitat next to them but orevwntitively treated just in case.
Thank y’all!!
Thank you! Yes directions on bottle stated that and I’m still hosing down habitats and re flooring themMake sure you respray everyone and everything again in one week to kill anything that hatches.
Do it for a total of three weeks/3 sprays/treatments.
